On this day of Thanksgiving....I have been reflecting a lot about the lessons we teach our children by what we do with our own lives. I stay at home and run my business....and make no where near the amount of money that I did as a Hotel Manager (before-kids career).

BUT...I do get to be here with my children and I get to share in their childhood. They see me conducting my business and treating others with compassion and fairness and kindness. They see me working hard and still finding a lot of room for them in my day. They are young but i already see a lot of interest in my business from them. They understand what I do and they seem to like it!

I look forward to teaching them, as they get older, about giving and receiving. I hope they will grow up knowing that doing something for someone else really and truly does make the world a better place. Even if you only do something very small...it matters.

THIS is why we stay at home.....THESE are the lessons that are so important to teach our children.

Wow!

This little girl is only 5 years old and she's already learned a lesson that many adults have not mastered.

The best of inventions and innovations have come from never giving up, finding something that people want or will make their lives better.

What a great story.
