I’ve worked with many moms in the home-based industry. I’ve also heard most of the reasons you listed so I agree with you on the list. One reason that I hear a lot that is omitted is that of financial independence. Especially in today’s economy, that is a dream for many work at home moms. Luckily, though parts of the economy are bad, there are many opportunities for work at home moms to pursue.

I completely agree with a few of the top 10. While I started in the business to spend more time with my kids and save on the day care costs, I ended up with such personal satisfaction and was really pleased with the flexibility. Great post!
